2008 Buckskin Filly - "Paloma de FinaVista" (Mercenario deLa Libertad x Finola de Herencia) PFHA #52,830 This is the breeding I have been looking forward to since acquiring the dam, Finola, several years ago. A cross of our beautiful herd sire and Fino champion, Mercenario, with our stunningly beautiful mare, and Piedmont Futurity champion, Finola. I knew the baby would be beautiful and a mover and I also hoped it would be buckskin and a filly. So far she has not missed a trick! Paloma has an intriguing buckskin colour with lots of metallic and silver tones, not sure how it will look by maturity. Her half-brother out of Finola, El Mango, was the biggest boy on the farm at 2 years old... so I expect Paloma will have considerable size. I also expect her to be sensitive, smart, flashy and impressive to watch. She gaits everywhere and is fast and correct with lots of brio. She is for sale for now, as I have to get down to a few less horses. However, if I sell some others I won't be sad to keep her.
